The release contains two distinct toro (6 x 52) blends presented together: one wrapped in Ecuador Connecticut Shade (blended by Jochy Blanco) and the other wrapped in USA Connecticut Broadleaf (blended by José Manuel Blanco). Both use a Dominican Corojo binder with a filler mix that includes Criollo ’98, Piloto Dominicano and Piloto Cubano tobaccos. Boxes are produced as 20-count presentations that include ten Connecticut Shade and ten Connecticut Broadleaf toros. The blends sit in the medium to medium–full range and reflect La Galera’s focus on traditional Dominican long-filler construction.
